We always think of saving precious things and one such thing is water! If there is no water, there is no life! Nestle initiated a water conservation drive on World Water Day recently with little slum children, teaching them the importance of hygiene, sanitization and water conservation spending a day playing with them and having lots of fun with colours & paper.
For people who workout and are always active & on the go, shoes play a vital role in providing comfort, body movement & flexibility of feet according to the workout time and yes the comfort factor which one feels when one wears a particular shoe. Have you wished for a small little device which is your bundle of joy which encapsulates anything and everything you need. If yes, there is someone who has heard you! NO NO, it’s not only God but a cool brand called Coolpad which has made it possible! Team ChicLifebyte recently got to know about the cool device called Coolpad Note 5 Lite which is themed around Small Packs It All. Yes, its power packed and has all the features which a big phone would have. Remember the big phones which were a rage at a certain point of time but we ditched those bulky creatures for sleeker smarter versions. However now is the time to go small. When big bags are turning into clutches, where do we have the space to store the big gadgets or the power banks and the USB cord! You would not need all of this if you get your hands on the new device!
This new year, we thought of exploring a new country with a new passport (got it renewed last year) in a new style and that’s when I logged on to Miway Fashion, obviously after doing my tickets and accommodation! It was time to explore Thailand, a country known for tourist sports, beaches and loads of shopping. Obviously if we were travelling that far we wanted to explore much more than one city and we decided to explore Bangkok, Pattaya as well as Phuket. Now with so much to explore we needed different kind of outfits, obviously because some evenings were supposed to be on the beach while some days were to be spent shopping while some time were dedicated to adore the scenic beauty of the land and city hopping was also in our to-do list!!
Ansal Plaza had become nostalgia! It was our hub during school days for every need, whether it was about hanging out with friends at a nice café/restaurant or shopping. Gradually, it lost its charm to other fancy malls and in no time we forgot our favourite place.
Recently I got to know about a new eatery called Taksim which opened up at this place which was our so called ‘adda’ at some point of time! I could not resist myself as I finally reached Ansal Plaza on a Friday evening to get the same feel I used to get years back and to try the new eatery!
10th to 12th February 2017 was known as the foodies weekend coz there were 4 food festivals taking place in Delhi NCR. In just one weekend it was impossible to go to all 4 food festivals, so we had to choose one! I had never been to Palate Fest before so I chose to go there. Held at Nehru Park, it opened doors from 11 AM to 11 PM from Feb 10 to 12, 2017.

What if I tell you that one morning when I woke up in Thailand, I saw a beautiful view through the glass pane and balcony of clear blue water from a gorgeous room located on the 20th floor of a high rise building! If this is what you also want to wake up to then keep reading! Andaman Beach Suites Hotel in Patong, Phuket offers a panoramic vista of lush green hill-slopes, sparkling blue sea and shimmering white sand. Doesn’t it sound like a dream? The hotel is well thronged by not only Indians but even tourists from China and Australia.
This New Year brought alive new hopes in me and the travel bug in me was getting restless. That’s when I decided that I should explore a new country with a new passport (got it renewed last year). Excited to get the first stamp in the new notebook of my travel stories, the passport, I decided to book my ticket to the country of scenic beauty, beaches and shopping! Now, the big question was how I book my ticket. Parents would still suggest the age-old option of travel agents but I wanted a trip on my own terms and conditions according to my own itinerary keeping it quick and simple and decided on Cleartrip.com!
When it comes to travelling, almost every traveller tends to go overboard when it comes to spending, living a life of luxury even if it is only for a week or two. Skift reported that international travellers spending rose to $1.4 trillion in 2015, with the overall spending in emerging economies such as India growing by nearly 7%. Overspending is indeed a common problem among many holidaymakers and it is an issue that certainly needs to be addressed. But how do you overcome the urge to overspend?
What happens to your skin when you travel or when the season changes? It becomes itchy, harsh and rough. When I travelled from Delhi to Thailand, my skin experienced similar ailments. To protect it from sudden season change (Delhi being cold at that moment to Thailand being pleasant), I had Oriflame’s Eco Beauty range to my rescue which is made from natural ingredients like cornflower sunflower, rose chamomile, evening primrose oil, aloevera, lingonberry and sea buckthorn to protect your skin. Launched in January 2017, it aims at protecting and keeping the skin natural and glowing.
