‘’When you are a mother, you are never really alone in your thoughts. A mother always has to think twice, once for herself and once for her child.’’ – Sophia Loren
How true are these words by Sophia Loren! Pregnancy is a special phase that a woman goes through. This is also a challenging time of her life as she has to be extra careful about everything she does – right from her diet to exercise to sleeping position and the emotional turmoil inside her. No matter how tough it may seem and feel like, it is also extremely rewarding.
Online shopping has made our life so comfortable that we hardly wait a minute to make the next purchase. I have myself bought almost everything online right from smartphones to books to dresses to tops and skirts. However, my newfound love on the Internet has been ethnic wear. This is the time when we have festivals in full swing followed by weddings and that’s when you need to be on point with your ethnic wear. That’s where your search for everything glamorous and perfect begins. And as is the norm for females, we are spoilt for choices!
With the upcoming festive season, we don’t want to wear the usual. Say no to the usual silhouettes and colours because what I am gonna show you is what will make you the centre of attraction whether it’s a card party or a brunch. DOUS, a brand for high-end women pret wear is termed as finesse, sober, sedate, royal, luxury, obsolete and grand. Their collection is elegant adding the perfect glam quotient required. I picked up three different outfits recently from DOUS which could be worn on different occasions.
Holidays for me is not about staying back in my city and sleeping but it’s about exploring a new world all together. Yes, travel is one thing I can never have enough of! Whether it’s to beat the city heat or to chill at an exotic location or just to take a break from my mundane life.
It’s finally time to select my next travel destination. Yes, I have a big wish list according to different zones for different period. Thinking of my next destination, I am going to hit is South India. South India is one zone which I haven’t explored much, though I have travelled to Hyderabad for work and Kerala for a FAM trip, my next destination would have be beautiful South India. While I was doing my research online, I zeroed down upon Coorg known as the Scotland of India.
A mobile phone is a gadget which we are heavily dependent on. Even if we leave it for a minute, our hands itch! Whether it’s for making calls, messaging/chatting, playing a game, clicking a selfie or making use of our mobile internet for an array of things- checking movie schedule, booking a flight, searching something or just navigation…the list can go on and on and on. While there are a numerous things we do with our mobile phone each day, unfortunately most of the above things require a lot of battery. My heart skips a beat everytime my phone has less than 20 percent of battery especially when we really need the functions of our favourite device. We all know how it comes handy in every scenario especially when we are waiting for a meeting to begin or we are bored at work. Sometimes when I want to refresh my mind I just sit in the open air and play my favourite game or speak to a loved one. Mobile phone is the first thing we check when we get up and the last thing before we retire for the day. Whether it is setting the alarm or checking a message, it’s a device that comes handy.
A few days of bliss is what all of us wish for and this time it was my trip to the holy city Amritsar that I was looking forward to. Well, I have been to Amritsar before but this time it was special because I was staying at Ranjit’s SVAASA, a Heritage Boutique Spa Haveli. The 250-year-old British Colonial Haveli of the Rai Bahadur Rattan Chand family has housed royalty and eminent personalities of all lineages.
A few days ago I was planning my trip to the holy city Amritsar. While I was looking forward to my time of bliss, I also had a lot of things running on my mind!
