This is ‘IT’, the Italian restaurant at The Grand New Delhi

Food April 27, 2016

Who doesn’t know The Grand New Delhi. It’s an iconic property in itself….as grand as its name! The place plays a perfect host for a couple of events – fashion weeks to weddings to exhibitions. I have always been in love with their hospitality and food. This time when Team ChicLifeByte made its trip to the iconic place, it was to take a test the waters of IT, their Italian restaurant and we shall tell you that hospitality was at its peak.

Dine where Priyanka Chopra has a meal- Aurum

Food January 18, 2016

What if we tell you that you can dine out where Priyanka Chopra goes to have a meal. No, this is not a Mumbai based restaurant, Yes, it’s a Bareilly based restaurant but that doesn’t mean you go will have to drive down to Bareilly when you can grab a bite at the same restaurant in Delhi itself! Yes, you read it right. Priyanka Chopra and her family have been quite regular to Aurum restaurant based out of Bareilly (Priyanka’s hometown) and good news for all PC fans….the place has finally opened up in Delhi after a wait of 6 long years!! Team ChicLifeByte recently made its stop there and was quite impressed with the great food, luxurious ambience and the hospitable management. We met Raj Shrestha Juneja, the director of the luxurious restaurant who took us around the place- a three storey building with a compact terrace which is perfect for winter evenings. The ground and first floor is for the restaurant and the third level is generally for private parties. We loved the gold and purple theme of the restaurant and the Indian fusion menu, though it offers Indian & continental as well. I am sure, like us you would also want to know more about Indian fusion which is ‘Indian food presented in western way’.

Food October 3, 2015

The first things that come to your mind on entering Ambrosia Bliss are: beautiful, spacious & lavish. Ambrosia Bliss stands tall with 15000 sq. ft of space in the heart of Delhi, Connaught Place (CP). The place is divided into 3 areas: fine dining, lounge & private dining area.

Shining more in the Taj Mahal like structure, Ambrosia Bliss also has a bar section done in classic white, a dreamer’s paradise with music upbeat & decorated very stylishly. They have an area with newspapers, novels & magazines for people who love to catch up on life. You will feel really happy from inside to be there because it is beautifully done with the ceiling reflecting & scattering light everywhere.

Restaurant Review: Hybrid, Connaught Place

Food July 20, 2015

The newly opened Hybrid shines in the richness of metal & chains like the London Dungeon but never I got scared here as the Hybrid walls made a wall of fame & the Batsman wall made me more fond of the place. The interiors are hard core done with metal & bottles everywhere. I met Vaibhav, the co-owner of Hybrid who was really polite & introduced us to the Chef Tajinder.
