Open View Estate: Our perfect abode where we could all stay under one roof!

Travel August 13, 2018

When you are a family or a big group, you need a cozy space where you can all chill together, plan together and stay together! I have personally been on multiple trips in a group with friends or family but what I have always hated is being confined to different rooms in hotels (and sometimes on different floors) which at times bound us to even basic communication. We do keep a track of each other on Whatsapp or phone extensions but it’s not too convenient most of the times. It looses the whole purpose of travelling in a group.

Do you relate to this? Then read on to know how we enjoyed staying under one roof that too enjoying our own secluded space

I had to be in Lucknow known as the city of Nawabs and while I was choosing where to stay I decided Novotel Lucknow. Located at Gomti Nagar, which is a 30 minute drive from the Airport as well as the Railway station, it boasts of being one of the best 5-star hotels in Lucknow that too when the hotel has just turned one. Yes, the hotel which started its operation on May 1, 2017 has an occupancy of 106 rooms which are mostly sold out on any given day. With 92 superior rooms, 12 executive rooms and 2 suites, the hotel is well-equipped to understand the growing needs of its consumers.

Delight your senses with the mystical flavors of Asia at EEST, The Westin Gurgaon

Food October 3, 2016

They say “relish the mystical flavors of Asia and delight your senses at EEST with distinct cuisines – Chinese, Japanese and Thai crafted to capture the essence of province of South East Asia”. I completely agree with their description of the restaurant.

Walking to the eatery carved intricately, EEST looks quite impressive and a very calm space for a quiet meal. Extremely bored and done with the loud nightlife around Sector 29 of Gurgaon, I quite liked the peaceful meal here. If one wants to spend an evening with their people talking, I think this is the place. Very light instrumental music in the background and dimly lit space, EEST has its own beauty to attract you.

Cleartrip: The Genie in the laptop

Travel April 4, 2016

For us travel enthusiasts, it is easy to book flights but where we get stuck is the accommodation that we are choosing. This is what I personally got stuck with while I was planning my trip to Goa and what played genie in the process was Cleartrip. A click on Hotels in Goa is all I had to do and it was not just the hotel names that popped out, it was along with prices, stars, hotel area and rating…isn’t that wonderful? The infinite variety of accommodation from Guest Houses to luxurious hotels was what I wanted. With a brief description and filters, it did make my search easy and hassle free. Gone are the days when we used to call up our friendly travel agents for booking our flights and accommodation for a vacation or work trip…Now everything is a click away.

Food, Travel December 21, 2015

So, here we are on our fun filled travelogue with updates of our adventures at Corbett Blue Sky Resort in Jim Corbett. If you missed out on Day 1, you can read it here. Day 2 started with a stroll in the green lawns and our morning cup of tea. The pleasant weather and fresh air made our morning great. It felt heavenly walking on the slightly wet grass. What a wonderful start of the day!! We also had our morning tea and sandwiches in the lawn. Having our morning tea in greenery was a different and nice experience. Afterall we Delhi wallas rarely ever see such greenery. The veg sandwiches served with the tea were nice and soft with a filling of cucumber and tomato along with butter. The chai had elaichi in it and smelled wonderful.
