We witnessed a spectacular pink show which smelt of girly things and lots of candies & lollipops! With a colour palette of corals, bright pinks, blacks, off-whites & greys all together checkered and hand-woven Merino yarns stitched together & the Portuguese lace & trims, tartans, stripes, colour pop up, the 3D laser cut flowers, ribbon embroideries, beadwork, crochet detailing, the Péro Fall Winter Spring Collection at Amazon India Fashion Week Autumn Winter’18 was a delight to watch!
Designer Aneeth Arora recently converted the Crafts Museum in Delhi to her offsite venue for showcasing péro’s fall-winter 2017 collection at the Amazon India Fashion Week Autumn Winter’17 in association with Maybelline New York. Aneeth Arora’s show inspired from her own travel journals was definitely one of the most awaited ones this season.
Inspired by the iconic Pippi Longstocking, Péro by Aneeth Arora at the Amazon India Fashion Week Autumn Winter 2016 was all about gingham checks. Pippi loves venturing out & stitching poppies to her boring uniform and make it creative because she loves the poppy fields, the red poppies and melting temptations of lemon & sugar like Mr. Nelson.
Pero’s show at the Amazon India Fashion Week SS16 was a surprise as when I sat on the seat I picked up a packet of marshmallows kept inside a cute bag with a special note in it saying PYJAMA PARTY.
