#KnowYourMom

Food May 8, 2016

Mothers are special. Whether it’s your Mother or Mother-in-law…they are your support system. Afterall, mother’s are the ones who know what you like, dislike and what you love…whether its shopping or food…they exactly know what you need…but does anyone of us know what our mom needs or what they like or dislike…This is what I realized when I got to know about the campaign done by Dine Out. The brand did a special campaign called #KnowYourMom. It was based on the fact that most of us are clueless on being asked about our mom’s favourite dish.

Restaurant Review: Hunter Valley, Gurgaon

Food April 16, 2016

Sitting amid the plush and upmarket location of Sector-29 in Gurgaon, Hunter Valley starts each day in what is the region’s most delightful craft brewery. Every beer they make is a reality conferred by the belief of visitors who praise what they do and what they offer. Everyday they constantly strive to challenge people’s perceptions about beer, and to evolve and push the boundaries of brewing, their equipment, and themselves. Everything and everyone at their brewery is focused on one thing and one thing only; making the best beers they possibly can as they look to put the passion, the choice and the artisan craftsmanship back into people’s beer glasses. At the end of the day, it all comes down to the quality and taste of what is in your glass. The brewery occupies a unique position in the beer industry, brew authentic Belgian beer using four ancient types of fermentation. They also host fantastic regular events where you can often meet big names in the craft beer community as well as sampling their beers.

My Travelogue with Ford Aspire

Lifestyle April 9, 2016

One of the most important companion for a trip is the vehicle we drive in…and one which gives great look and great mileage is what I would call an ideal car! Being passionate about 4 wheelers and driven a variety of them already…from luxury to the basic ones….some self-owned, some borrowed from family and friends…This time I had to drive down to Punjab to visit a relative and I picked up Ford Aspire for the trip! The Ford Aspire has a very satisfying design when compared to its closest rivals and the vehicle has been on my hitlist for a while.

Cleartrip: The Genie in the laptop

Travel April 4, 2016

For us travel enthusiasts, it is easy to book flights but where we get stuck is the accommodation that we are choosing. This is what I personally got stuck with while I was planning my trip to Goa and what played genie in the process was Cleartrip. A click on Hotels in Goa is all I had to do and it was not just the hotel names that popped out, it was along with prices, stars, hotel area and rating…isn’t that wonderful? The infinite variety of accommodation from Guest Houses to luxurious hotels was what I wanted. With a brief description and filters, it did make my search easy and hassle free. Gone are the days when we used to call up our friendly travel agents for booking our flights and accommodation for a vacation or work trip…Now everything is a click away.

A pampering session at Kairali Spa

Beauty March 31, 2016

A Thursday evening instead of heading back home, I thought of pampering myself! And what better way to pamper myself than nature’s therapy at Kairali Spa. So I took the road to Mehrauli.

As I entered, I felt captivated by the red and white brick wall colour theme designed by a designer from Kerala. I was suggested a full body massage named Abhyangam Therapy. This is a distinct relaxing and detoxifying therapy where herbal oil is massaged all over the body using a special technique applied. The person undergoing the massage is made to lie down and the massage is continued in a synchronized manner from head to toe. These massage technique helps to sooth the muscles, increase the vigor, open up the tissue networks and rejuvenate all the senses. Abhyangam has been found very effective for improving eyesight, longevity, circulation and mental alertness this also helps to induce peaceful sleep. It is the best massage to delay ageing and is a preventive massage for good health.
