Who doesn’t like to go for a shopping spree? It would be any girl’s dream to spend a day at a premium shopping center like Select CITYWALK amongst the national and international brands it offers. For me, my retail therapy usually ends with food therapy and while we go mad selecting the right dress or the right attire for an upcoming event or occasion, it is important to get the right fuel for your body! And that’s when we head to the superior restaurants here. Select CITYWALK gives us a choice between Confectionary, Cafes and Fine Dining restaurants which I think is great because we always have either a little hunger and do not want something too heavy while at times we are completely done with our shopping hauls and want a nice relaxing comfortable meal at a fine dining restaurant. Holiday Inn Phuket: A vibrant property with a buzzing surrounding

After Bangkok, our next destination was Phuket, a rainforested, mountainous island in the Andaman Sea which is known for popular beaches, old shophouses and busy markets. We chose Patong the main resort town to host us which is an area full of life, thanks to the great hotels, nightclubs, bars and discos.

Holiday Inn Resort Phuket, located at the buzzing Patong beach area became our place. As I entered I loved the open lobby concept! Quirky colour elements were added to the couches as well as the celling. The resort well illuminated at the entrance welcomed us whole heartedly. Football and Fashion brought together at Jabong TurfWar

Can you imagine a day full of football and fashion? That too at the same venue! Yes, we experienced it all at Jabong TurfWar Season II powered by hummel. A cold evening of January 2017 was heated up with a five-a-side football tournament which was followed by a fashion show by GAS, rock band performances, award winning DJs and VJs, TV celebrities, fashion and styling tips, quizzes and competitions for campus youth. The event witnessed a fight for the prize amongst 15 college teams in front of a live audience of 10,000 spectators which participated in the two-day campus tournament being held at Greater Noida’s G.L. Bajaj Institute of Technology and Management (GLBITM). In the said format, each team fields four outfield players and a goalkeeper in five-a-side football. With relatively smaller pitch, goalposts and a reduced duration, the game is much more fast-paced and action oriented, where every minute counts. The field is enclosed within a barrier or “cage” to prevent the ball from leaving the playing area and keep the game flowing.

Shoe Love is True Love– Anonymus

And that’s what our lady has in mind. We are talking about none other than Radhika Jain who is all set to take the shoe industry by storm. When I met her, the first question I asked her was why shoe designing? Why not fashion designing? The lady spoke about her affection with footwear and we can’t agree more! The young entrepreneur said ‘Ever since I came out of school, I had entrepreneurship in mind and wanted to venture into a creative field’. That’s when she went to London College of Fashion (Cordwainers), UK to learn footwear design from an international perspective. Even after coming to India, she continued to hone her knowledge on the peculiarities of footwear designing, and completed her post graduation in Footwear Technology from Footwear Design and Development Institute (FDDI), Noida and Mewar University respectively. She additionally learnt Online Retail for Fashion Business from LCF, UK. All of this education coupled with a rich practical work experience in India and Italy lent her the spirit to start on her own.
