Being in plus size and always want to fit in the most loved jeans maybe your favourite one which has become tight and become the talk topic of the house trying to adjust to your figure flaws or body shaming, embarrassed & helpless scrutinizing sizes at the clothes store for the perfect fit but still you feel as if you were feather light & thin and for a food blogger like me who just cannot diet, life is not easy but full of fat bubbles & weight that comes with dozens & oodles adding that extra inch to my size.
It’s the time of the year when there is a winter chill and all you want is oodles of layers on you along when you plan your much-awaited winter break. Holidays are not just touristy anymore, they are filled with adventure – camping, trekking or trailing through tough winter conditions.
Gauri & Nainika’s show at the Amazon India Fashion Week Spring Summer’17 was definitely one of my favourites!
The models walked & sashayed in frilly frocks in peaches, navy, black, white, red and brown. Black, white & navy dominated the collection with pops of fuschia and mustard. The collection was flowy, sexy, sultry and desirable containing the feminine frilly touches adding more drama with organza tulle, ruffles & weightless striped silks.
Amidst the glitz and glamour of fashion week, how can you be left behind and this time while I was deciding my wardrobe for the much awaited week, I picked up Oxolloxo to be my style partner. Afterall, you need the right partners to stand out and only a few have that caliber to stay with you! Oxolloxo is a global lifestyle brand that provides quality fashion to its customers across all tiers of Indian cities at affordable prices.
First drops of innocence, breeze of fresh air, the burst of the first glitter & candy-filled birthday balloon, rose picked from a nearby garden and pressed between the notebook pages, the very first music CD are saved on the ‘icloud’ of our memory. Amit Aggarwal’s Spring Summer’17 collection at the Amazon India Fashion Week was one such show drawing inspiration from his childhood memories. The line is a fusion of what India has to offer in the west- textiles and what industrialization has brought in- technology.
With the easy to wear, soft, floral, breezy, light wisps of chiffons, georgettes and the paneled anarkalis or the tapered trousers, Mandira Wirk sets the new romanticism with her latest collection titled New Royals with doll like porcelain soft pastel colours showcased at the Amazon India Fashion Week Spring Summer 2017.

So, for a recent shoot, I went to the store with my sister and we settled on 2 beautiful gowns and loved what we wore! Obviously when you get what you love in your size, it’s a double whammy!
Fashion is not only about donning great clothes but about style and comfort too. When we were asked to do a fashion post for Coolpad we were confused as to where to go! Somewhere there is style, somewhere there is comfort. It’s important to keep the fashion graph high but not at the stake of choosing between comfort and style.
So we decided to go to 2 different destinations of the fashion world – a brand and a designer. A brand would always have options across various styles while a designer will have different lines.
Garlands of love
Fragrance of love
Lights & flowers embedded
Candles & glass chandeliers stirring the soul,
Making a magical rush in the bloodstream
Which connects to the heartstream
And the centerstage you hold
Orange & yellow pearls
Like a long wedding dream
You become alive
With the magical angel of love in pink
Dancing & moving her hands with all her charm
The lady luck all in peaches and roses
