What if I tell you that one morning when I woke up in Thailand, I saw a beautiful view through the glass pane and balcony of clear blue water from a gorgeous room located on the 20th floor of a high rise building! If this is what you also want to wake up to then keep reading! Andaman Beach Suites Hotel in Patong, Phuket offers a panoramic vista of lush green hill-slopes, sparkling blue sea and shimmering white sand. Doesn’t it sound like a dream? This New Year brought alive new hopes in me and the travel bug in me was getting restless. That’s when I decided that I should explore a new country with a new passport (got it renewed last year). Excited to get the first stamp in the new notebook of my travel stories, the passport, I decided to book my ticket to the country of scenic beauty, beaches and shopping! Now, the big question was how I book my ticket. Parents would still suggest the age-old option of travel agents but I wanted a trip on my own terms and conditions according to my own itinerary keeping it quick and simple and decided on Cleartrip.com!
When it comes to travelling, almost every traveller tends to go overboard when it comes to spending, living a life of luxury even if it is only for a week or two. Skift reported that international travellers spending rose to $1.4 trillion in 2015, with the overall spending in emerging economies such as India growing by nearly 7%. Overspending is indeed a common problem among many holidaymakers and it is an issue that certainly needs to be addressed. But how do you overcome the urge to overspend?
The answer is will power.
After Bangkok, our next destination was Phuket, a rainforested, mountainous island in the Andaman Sea which is known for popular beaches, old shophouses and busy markets. We chose Patong the main resort town to host us which is an area full of life, thanks to the great hotels, nightclubs, bars and discos.
Holiday Inn Resort Phuket, located at the buzzing Patong beach area became our place. As I entered I loved the open lobby concept! Quirky colour elements were added to the couches as well as the celling. The resort well illuminated at the entrance welcomed us whole heartedly. With 29 years of experience in providing genuine Thai Service, Holiday Inn Resort Phuket has built a strong reputation on an Oasis in the heart of bustling Patong. The best part, Patong Beach was only a few seconds away! Not only the Beach but even shopping was also a walk away which include Jungceylon Shopping Mall and other leisure destinations.
