We all are confined to our usual chores between work and home. Don’t we get tied up in the monotonous routine and want to do some, fun and adventure in life? We all have that aim (sometimes secret) which we want to fulfil at some point of time in our life. Afterall, everyone gets a kick from different things! Personally for me, I keep taking up different activities from the time to break the monotony of life! This time it was my time in the land of beaches in a country called Thailand and what attracted me was adventure sports plus meeting the king of the jungle. Sounds fun? Keep reading! Oh, did I mention that Team ChicLifeByte partnered with Coolpad Cool 1 which became the perfect Lens partner to go with us as we explored these fun adventurous acts!
Can you imagine a day full of football and fashion? That too at the same venue! Yes, we experienced it all at Jabong TurfWar Season II powered by hummel. A cold evening of January 2017 was heated up with a five-a-side football tournament which was followed by a fashion show by GAS, rock band performances, award winning DJs and VJs, TV celebrities, fashion and styling tips, quizzes and competitions for campus youth. The event witnessed a fight for the prize amongst 15 college teams in front of a live audience of 10,000 spectators which participated in the two-day campus tournament being held at Greater Noida’s G.L. Bajaj Institute of Technology and Management (GLBITM). In the said format, each team fields four outfield players and a goalkeeper in five-a-side football. With relatively smaller pitch, goalposts and a reduced duration, the game is much more fast-paced and action oriented, where every minute counts. The field is enclosed within a barrier or “cage” to prevent the ball from leaving the playing area and keep the game flowing.

The delightful Kashmiri spices are brought from the heaven of beauty, the “Flavours of Kashmir” festival being held at Caraway, the Indian speciality restaurant at The Grand New Delhi organized in association with Saal by Sunil Tickoo keeping in mind the two distinctive cooking styles of the valley- Kashmiri Pundit style and Kashmiri Wazwan cuisine. While Kashmiri Muslim cuisine is partial to onions, garlic & tomatoes, the authentic Pundit cuisine is absolutely devoid of them, be it non-vegetarian or vegetarian cuisines with elements of richness and balancing of flavours. Signature dishes include Gosthaba, Tabak Maza, Rista, Nadur Yakhni, Shufta and many more. Not to forget the authentic Rogan Josh!

Tourist in Janpath is a place representing the journey of a “traveller” whether in interiors, books, pictures or food which one finds amazing & unique with the comfortable seating. You want to look the best and this time for the Amazon India Fashion Week Spring Summer’17, I collaborated with Oxolloxo for OOTD posts during the fashion week.

And that’s what our lady has in mind. We are talking about none other than Radhika Jain who is all set to take the shoe industry by storm. When I met her, the first question I asked her was why shoe designing? Why not fashion designing? The lady spoke about her affection with footwear and we can’t agree more! The young entrepreneur said ‘Ever since I came out of school, I had entrepreneurship in mind and wanted to venture into a creative field’. That’s when she went to London College of Fashion (Cordwainers), UK to learn footwear design from an international perspective. Even after coming to India, she continued to hone her knowledge on the peculiarities of footwear designing, and completed her post graduation in Footwear Technology from Footwear Design and Development Institute (FDDI), Noida and Mewar University respectively. She additionally learnt Online Retail for Fashion Business from LCF, UK. All of this education coupled with a rich practical work experience in India and Italy lent her the spirit to start on her own.
Being in plus size and always want to fit in the most loved jeans maybe your favourite one which has become tight and become the talk topic of the house trying to adjust to your figure flaws or body shaming, embarrassed & helpless scrutinizing sizes at the clothes store for the perfect fit but still you feel as if you were feather light & thin and for a food blogger like me who just cannot diet, life is not easy but full of fat bubbles & weight that comes with dozens & oodles adding that extra inch to my size.
