The evening of 24th April, 2015 was full of fashion, fun & colours as the restaurant Smokey’s BBQ & Grill was converted into a fashion hub by the fashion designer Avni Aneja. The event showcased Avni’s label Bonhmie under the umbrella brand Mojolane.com.
The evening of 2nd April 2015 at Bholason’s Jewellers, Gurgaon after April fool’s day but the name associated with Gold jewellery is none other than the veteran designer Tarun Tahiliani , who besides designing clothes has now come up with an exquisite jewellery range called “Tarun Tahiliani for Azva” in 22 carat gold for the modern, contemporary, traditional, westernised women and brides. The intricate designs are a mix of tradition with a modern touch. Most of the bridal designs are inspired by the SEVEN VOWS of marriage and the seven elements are present in most of his designs.
Last week when I came home I found a box of Californian walnuts waiting for me. It was a pleasant surprise and it had been packed very nicely. The walnuts were in a wooden box and along with it I found a book titled “California Walnuts Nutrition and Health” by Geetu Amarnani, a Nutritionist and Lifestyle Management Consultant.
Restaurant Review: Traditional Marwari food at Dilli 32, Kempinski Ambience, Delhi – 4.5/5 Stars
FoodMy thirst for trying something new took me to Kempinski Ambience Hotel in New Delhi this week to taste the most exclusive and special Rajasthani (Marwari) food. It was a delight to meet Chef Rohit Tokhi who is basically from Lucknow and has 19 years of experience in the food industry. Along with him I had the pleasure of meeting Pushpita Singh, the jewellery designer from the royal family of Kharwa, Rajasthan who is an exceptional chef and has written her own books on cooking.
This week I went to Zingo Star, the newly opened café in GK – 2. Now who doesn’t want to have a sumptuous meal in a cozy place with good music? I fell in love with the ambience instantly and liked the relaxed feel of the place. The manager Tushar told me about the founders Sohrab Sitaram and Raghav Kapoor from Delhi who took interest in food and thus began this journey.

Edward Keventer landed in Bombay in December 1889 as he was sent to India as an agent for the Alpha Laval Cream Separator. after carrying out demonstrations in Madras Calcutta, Patna Cawnpore, Allahabad, Nadiad and Bombay. He was employed by the government at Cawnpore and later Poona and Bombay where he started the first dairy of the Bombay and Gujrat dairy industry.
As I made my way through Opulent Hotel for the India Runway Week Season, I saw many celebs and socialites making the event glitzy and glamorous. The event was organized by Indian Federation for Fashion Development and all the 35 designers got a chance to showcase their collection here.
On entering Pizza Express in Ambience Mall, I noticed that it was very tastefully done & quite a bright and well lit up restaurant. Our review started with a fun exercise, making our own Pizza! We had to make a pizza using ingredients provided and the best looking pizza was awarded a prize at the end of the evening.
My first visit to the Academy Of Pastry Arts in Gurgaon was like a dream because here creative chefs work together in harmony and create many beautiful & unique designs with sugar gum berries, fruits, nuts and chocolates.Academy of Pastry Arts India is an international pastry school where professional pastry chefs offer world-class pastry instructions to many young pastry chefs.
As I entered Dr. Kubba’s skin clinic I saw the fashionista Dr. K dressed in red and beige with spelt passion and play. He also donned a colourful belt, which clearly showed how enthusiastic and alive he is. He spoke about style and colour and he is a food lover just like I am.
