Freelancing has its pros and cons. Infact, a research says that 38% like the profession on account of being one’s own boss & income growth. While I have the freedom to work on my own terms, which I love, what I don’t like about freelancing is the irregular income. I hate it when payments take as long as 6 months while delivery of the work is always ASAP. When work is done as per deadline, why do we have to wait for payments!
Why should fashion be restricted only to clothes! Even your house needs the fashion dose!
Team ChicLifeByte attended the recently concluded Delhi Times Fashion Week which happened at Roseate House where top designers like Niki Mahajan, Suneet Varma, Christine Storm and many more showcased. While we saw models who made stunning impressions in the designer garments, Orient Electric made an interesting move by associating with Delhi Times Fashion Week as “Smart Fans Partner”. Along with that at the event there was a display of two of Orient Aero Series fans namely Orient Aerostorm & Orient Aerolite. The fans come with 18 pole motor to deliver an astounding air delivery with heavenly silence. Aerostorm in particular gives an impressive 300 cmm (cubic meters per minute) air delivery.
We all have those flowy silhouettes which add the glam quotient to our outfit while attending a party or an event but when I choose an outfit I make sure it’s fuss free so that I can be at calm and enjoy the evening. One such outfit which I wore for #AIFWSS18 was this alluring outfit consisting of an off-shoulder crop top paired with a graceful long skirt from Timeless Tapestry by Prishaa. I have honestly never worn a crop top before and neither did I ever think it will look good on me but somehow seeing the beautiful outfit, I could not resist myself and Priyanka Sharma, the founder of the brand ensured that it will look good on me. So, I excitedly waited for a few days for my customized dress to arrive!
One afternoon Team ChicLifeByte stepped into the beautiful Pa Pa Ya, located at Select Citywalk in Delhi to grab the taste of their amazing Asian cuisine. Pa Pa Ya is known to present Asian food & drinks with a twist with cutting edge cooking techniques such as molecular gastronomy and mixology. The restaurant which was loved in Mumbai finally arrived in Delhi in December’16 and is also impressing the Delhiites with the amazing presentation and flavours. The menu of the Modern Asian bistro & tapas bar boasts of a wide array of dimsums as well as sushi.

The world of Jivaana: Trendy, High quality and Affordable fashion for ethnic wear and accessories
FashionWith the wedding season around the corner, we wish to be different, trendy, modern and stylish. The series of pre-wedding functions leading to the D Day followed by the reception, we want to look different and perfect with each passing and hectic day, each minute, each second. Not only do we crave for compliments while exchanging glances, the likes and comments of the celebratory moments of life on social media is also what each of us want secretly. If this is what you relate to as well (wondering how I have read your mind ;)), then you have to make sure that you have everything perfect, right from the outfit to the accessories making sure no look and flavour is repeated on any part of the function. I love to experiment not only with my outfits but accessories too. Accessories now not only mean earrings or neckpiece but everything including your clutch and your footwear.

Lifestyle‘’When you are a mother, you are never really alone in your thoughts. A mother always has to think twice, once for herself and once for her child.’’ – Sophia Loren
How true are these words by Sophia Loren! Pregnancy is a special phase that a woman goes through. This is also a challenging time of her life as she has to be extra careful about everything she does – right from her diet to exercise to sleeping position and the emotional turmoil inside her. No matter how tough it may seem and feel like, it is also extremely rewarding.
Online shopping has made our life so comfortable that we hardly wait a minute to make the next purchase. I have myself bought almost everything online right from smartphones to books to dresses to tops and skirts. However, my newfound love on the Internet has been ethnic wear. This is the time when we have festivals in full swing followed by weddings and that’s when you need to be on point with your ethnic wear. That’s where your search for everything glamorous and perfect begins. And as is the norm for females, we are spoilt for choices!
Planning a nice hearty lunch or dinner? The real challenge is deciding the place which has something for everyone’s liking? Someone in your family wants Indian while someone else wants Mexican? Sounds familiar? Don’t worry, Team ChicLifeByte has the perfect solution for you.
Flluid in Mosaic Hotels, Noida is where my dining woes came to an end. We had already experience the hospitality of Mosaic Hotels Mussoorie and had no doubt that Mosaic Noida would also stand true to its name. Flluid is the place where popular Western, Indian and Oriental dishes are blended together to create fusion experiments which taste heavenly.
ChicLifeByte told you about the wonderful stay and hospitality of Ranjit’s SVAASA: A Heritage Boutique Spa Haveli at Amritsar. The ancestral property was built 200 years ago by Ratan Chand Mehra, a prominent person of his time. He had contributed to the society by opening up blind schools, gaushala, a family mandir as well as a hospital for TB, all of which are running till date. Ratan Chand Mehra was a recipient of Order of the British Empire (OBE) title and this house was actually a guesthouse for the Britishers. Retaining the original heritage, the place was refurbished. However, special things were retained which include 18 inch thick walls, there is mud inside the ceiling which helps in insulation, bricks are nanakshati (special bricks packed with mud, no cement is used in walls).
