~As the day changes, the trend changes – four different trends for 4 different days of #AIFWAW18~

Four different days, 4 different outfits, 4 different styles and 4 different looks is how I would like to encapsulate my Fashion Week days. Fashion Week is not only what we see on the ramp but I love the fashion which we also see off the ramp. It was Amazon India Fashion Week Autumn Winter’18 {#AIFWAW18} on the ramp but off the ramp we were all celebrating the arrival of summers experimenting with our clothes as well as accessories. I love to experiment during fashion week because that’s where trends are made. If you follow me on my Instagram, you would have got a glimpse of what I wore during the 4 days but it’s this article where you would catch more pictures to see my look and get the deets!

This is the day when you want something comfortable because you are exploring a new venue where you would spend maximum hours for the next few days. At the same time, you need to be at your fashionable best so I chose Genes by Lecoanet Hemant, a ready-to-wear brand of Lecoanet Hemant- a designer duo whom I personally admire for their work. The designers have been in business for last three decades and moved their business from Paris to New Delhi and from couture to ready-to-wear. They are known to create a lifestyle collection of garments and accessories for the young at heart. I wore an ice blue top and electric blue palazzo pants to start my OOTD’s of AIFW! I paired the look with sandals from The Tan Base, a premium quality footwear brand which attempts to introduce the Indian woman to quality and trendy footwear at competitive pricing. I love the different designs Geetanjalee Bahl, the founder of The Tan Base introduces! Perfect for the modern, liberated and confident women of today! In my Day 1 look, I wore Fia Ankle Strap in white and silver which had a mirror finish upper broad strap for the perfect subtle bling look for the day as well as evening. There was an ankle strap at the back for snug grip. I loved the fact that the strap in the font had a soft inner lining which made sure am comfortable as well as sweat free!

Not to forget the elegant yet glamorous accessories from Ayesha Accessories which complemented the whole look! Blue and pink dangling earrings along with a golden bracelet from the brand made my look fun! Ayesha Accessories started by Bollywood actress Ayesha Kapur and her mother is a vibrant and ever expanding company. Ayesha is more than just a fashion jewellery retailer, it’s a brand that takes the leading edge on fashion and brings fun & innovation. Ayesha is your one-stop-candy shop for fantabulous fashion essentials. For my make-up and hair, I trusted Shweta Gaur who thinks eye make up is the key and she transformed me into a diva with her make-up skills. She currently operates out of her studio as well as academy located at Safdarjung Enclave Studio and South Extension and is soon spreading to Noida and East Delhi! Shweta specializes in wedding makeup and has served 1200+ brides across the NCR region. She has a vast experience in the industry and has participated in number of fashion shows and makeup events.

This is the day when I wanted to be dressy because I knew the right spots for the paparazzi’s lens. The excited me chose Afamado! I simply adore this brand because each outfit which is there on the website is available from size ‘S’ to ‘6XL’. So whichever size you are, you will be able to wear the style. Best part, it’s all online and you could just zoom through the user-friendly website to choose your dreamy outfit. The cold shoulder yellow coloured dress had a flowy sleeve and gave me the confidence and style.

The single coloured dress was given a colourful beaded neckpiece to create the required chemistry and rectangle dangling earrings from Ayesha Accessories. The look was complete with Handmade Handcuff frosted finish bracelet from Kiwi by Musskan which creates unique, new & innovative jewel pieces tailored to satisfy your specific taste. Believe me, each piece is a piece of art and I loved wearing the bracelet.

With such a classy dress and accessories, how can my make-up be any less! I chose to get my hair & make-up done by Ankkit Malik and his team. Keeping a light base, the eyes were given a blue smokey touch with brown transition and a bright lip shade that complemented the colour of the outfit. Hair was given a waterfall braid with a simple blowdry. Ankkit is a CA by profession who pursued his dream and hence found solace in the make-up brush than sitting in a cubicle with loads of files around.

For Day 3 of #AIFWAW18, I had to be at work in the first half because of an important meeting so I thought of wearing something that will work for the board room as well as the fashion world. The August Co. is where I found that perfect outfit. A light white jacket paired with a pleated slit skirt and a self-owned black top made my monochrome look perfect for both the do’s. The August Co. is office clothing by women and for women. No, I am not talking about women empowerment but I am talking about understanding an Indian curvy body and hence the brand introduced 24 different sizes to look the best version of yourself. Don’t we all at times feel S is too small and M is too big. Yes, the brand worked on fits and sizes that will make you feel comfortable and good about yourself.

Keeping the whole look black and white, I wore the monochrome slip-ons from The Tan Base. The 100% leather slip-ons made each step comfortable and joyful. Since I wanted to make the look elegant, I completed the look with studs which were a gift from my husband’s aunt. For work, I was carrying a Lecoanet Hemant bag and for the evening I was carrying a clutch bought online. Since both the bags looked great with the overall look, I decided to pose with both giving you the right feel to complement such an outfit.

Make-up was done by self and a blow dry with soft curls towards the end was courtesy of Dyson Hair booth at the premises of AIFW!

Day 4 of #AIFWAW18 was about Twelve AM:PM, a classic sartorial label with a fun twist on it. True to its name, the label offers a complete wardrobe solution that can make you transition seamlessly from boardroom hustle to an evening huddle. For me, it obviously became my AM to PM dress because I had to be at a family function post the fashion week and I obviously made my entry to the night do with élan! The Green printed knitted maxi dress which had intricate Mughal Garden print extended a unique look with the pleat detail, a shirt collar and long cuffed sleeves. Additionally, there were two insert pockets for the ease of putting knick knacks!

For accessories, I chose a beautiful choker from Ayesha Accessories which got me a lot of compliments. The earrings were from Ayesha Accessories as well but the choker was what caught attention! Even my arm extended a special attention with the Handmade Kundan Bracelet from Kiwi by Musskan! This one went well with my green maxi dress which would also be the right fit to my ethnic wear. It’s not only the design which makes it a perfect pick but it’s also one size fits all because it can be moulded and worn by anyone! To move around the big fashion week venue I chose coral flats from The Tan Base which not only made my look more beautiful but even extended comfort.

Make-up and hair was done by the luxurious The Magnifique Salon located at Defence Colony! They gave smokey eyes using multiple colours, a bright lip shade and tong curls which complimented the attire! Magnifique Salon aspires to rise as a one-stop family destination for those seeking to be spotlight-ready within minutes and that’s what they did with me!

Trends come and go, and styles evolve. Amazon India Fashion Week is one of my favorite trend spotting place. Do let me know your thoughts with regards to AIFW and the looks I created.
